Big Brothers, Big Sisters aims to help children in many situations.

For example:

  • helping those growing up with one parent or those being raised by relatives
  • those whose families are stretched for time, resources or money
  • children who have difficulty in school both academically or socially
  • if parent may have a terminal illness, or who has lost a family member through death or divorce
  • those who have been subject to verbal or physical abuse at home, school or in the community
  • children who lack access to extracurricular activities or extra help to get caught up academically or socially.
