At Centre Pointe Dance Studio it is their goal to provide exceptional training in the areas of dance, drama and musical theatre. They are focused on developing students’ natural selfexpression, creativity and musicality through their unique classes and performing arts programme. CPDS encourages students to express themselves and to strive for excellence in all they do – both inside and outside of the studio.
External examinations are offered in Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and Musical Theatre are taken with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). Students also have the opportunity to take part in the International Dance Acclaim Performance Awards programme and courses run through The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Studio owner Ms Anita Gough (BA (Hons) PPD), holds full membership status with the IDTA and is a Mutually Recognised Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. produce an annual theatre and dance show involving students of the school.
CPDS also produces theatre and dance shows, involving students of the school. They often perform with the Cayman Drama Society on their musical productions.
Classes are available for 2 year olds through to adults in the following disciplines: ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary dance, hip-hop, freestyle, musical theatre, acting, verse and prose. Boys’ only classes are also available.
