Louise is an experienced litigator called to the Bar (England and Wales) in 2006 and Cayman (2020). Louise practiced as a Barrister specialising in family law at Lamb Building (Chambers of Bernard Richmond QC, Middle Temple, London) where she remains a non-practicing door tenant. She was admitted to appear in the Cayman Islands in March 2020 where she now practices exclusively.

Louise has demonstrated expertise and strong legal professional skills in alternative dispute resolution, family law, mediation, legal writing, and litigation. Prior to practising at the Bar, Louise worked for a FTSE 100 company at a global level and has a good practical understanding of complex commercial structures as a result.

Louise is a family law specialist acting and with expertise in separation and divorce, children’s matters (including contested contact and residence disputes), injunctive proceedings involving serious domestic violence and matrimonial finance and related proceedings, including complex assets. Louise has strong drafting skills and is able to advise on Pre and Post Nuptial arrangements.

Louise has a particular interest in family cases involving autistic children and parents, or those with additional needs and acts regularly in financial and children cases for both spouses, children and extended family members (where appropriate).

Louise is member of CILPA and an overseas member of the Family Law Bar Association (England and Wales).
