SoNoRo Cayman Islands 2025

Cayman Arts Festival is proud to partner with the SoNoRo Festival in presenting esteemed classical music in the Cayman Islands. The festival is committed to nurturing an appreciation for intimate ensemble performances, offering educational opportunities in classical music, and providing audiences with exposure to world-class musicians on prestigious stages. The SoNoRo Festival embodies an extraordinary cultural celebration centered around promoting the artistry of chamber music.

Marking only its second year in the Cayman Islands, the SoNoRo Festival brings together some of the most esteemed classical musicians (see below) of our time for a 4-day extravaganza from April 2nd, 2025, to April 5th, 2025. This event promises to be an engaging and enlightening educational experience for our community.

Event 1 - Wednesday, April 2nd, 6pm - GT Public Library - (by invitation only) - Serenades

Event 2 - Thursday, April 3rd, 7pm - The National Gallery - Latin Worlds

Event 3 - Friday, April 4th, 1.15pm - Island Primary - The Secret "Superpowers" of Music

Event 4 - Saturday, April 5th, 7pm - Elmslie Memorial United Church - Finale: Fairy Tales

MUSIC BY THE SEA

Cayman Arts Festival is proud to partner with the SoNoRo Festival to bring world-class classical music to the Cayman Islands. This collaboration reflects their commitment to fostering an appreciation for chamber music, providing enriching educational opportunities, and showcasing exceptional musicians on prestigious stages.

The SoNoRo Cayman Islands Week is a remarkable cultural celebration dedicated to the artistry of chamber music. From April 2–5, 2025, the festival will feature renowned classical musicians (see below) in a weeklong series of inspiring performances and educational events.

To engage audiences of all ages, each day of the festival will present a unique concert at various iconic venues, including George Town Public Library, the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands, Island Primary, and Elmslie Memorial United Church.
