Did You Know? Bonfire Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Night, commemorates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, where Guy Fawkes and his accomplices attempted to blow up the UK Houses of Parliament. Each year, the British celebrate this historic event with bonfires and fireworks.
