The Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) presents Voyage of the Oceans with Doug Allan, OBE, a captivating presentation by the world-renowned wildlife cameraman and marine explorer. The event takes place on Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 6 to 7:30pm at the National Gallery. Admission is free, but registration is required due to limited seating.

In this special presentation, Doug Allan, OBE — acclaimed for his work on Blue Planet, Frozen Planet, Planet Earth, and A Plastic Ocean — takes audiences on a breathtaking journey across the world’s oceans, from the icy Antarctic to the vibrant coral reefs of the Red Sea. His talk highlights the global significance of Cayman’s marine ecosystems and their connection to the broader health of the planet’s oceans.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Doug Allan has worked on over 65 films and earned numerous prestigious awards, including eight Emmys, five BAFTAs, and five Wildscreen Pandas. His extensive experience includes over 5,000 hours underwater and more than 650 dives beneath the ice, documenting some of the most remarkable wildlife footage ever captured.

Doug returns to the Cayman Islands as part of CCMI’s outreach series, supported by the Fishmongers’ Company’s Fisheries Charitable Trust.
