Event Details:
Members of the media and the public are invited to get a first look at the new nursery facilities developed as part of a native plant propagation project funded by the UK Government through Darwin Plus.

The open house morning will include:

Guided tours of the new nursery facilities at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM (only)

Seed propagation and planting demonstrations

Opportunities to learn about Cayman’s unique and vibrant native flora

The new nursery facilities were developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Environment & Sustainability (MHES). The project aims to propagate native plant and tree species, making them more accessible to the community and encouraging their use in conservation projects, landscaping, and other applications, helping reduce reliance on non-native and potentially invasive species.
