The Unseen Ordinary

  • Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm

The Unseen Ordinary is a limited-time solo mixed media exhibition by Caymanian artist Leanna Lewis at the Mind’s Eye Centre. The exhibition looks beyond the postcard image of the Cayman Islands, focusing instead on everyday scenes, familiar objects and local moments that quietly shape Caymanian life and memory.

Through paintings inspired by observation, nostalgia and lived experience, Leanna’s work highlights corner stores, roadside moments, familiar foods, neighbourhood textures and ordinary spaces often passed without a second thought. Each artwork is available for purchase, with details to be discussed with staff and the artist on site.
