Cayman Connection presents a live Q&A with Dr. Katrina Jurn, winner of the Ministry of Health, Environment & Sustainability Environment & Sustainability Award 2025. Dr. Jurn is a Caymanian environmental sociologist, co-founder of Sustainable Cayman, and PhD graduate of the University of Cambridge. She champions data-driven, community-informed approaches to protecting Cayman’s coastal and marine ecosystems. Her work includes efforts to preserve South Sound, involvement in the CPR Cayman movement, mentoring young activists, and elevating Cayman’s environmental leadership internationally.
