About

Cayman Learning Centre & School (CLC) in 7 Pasadora Place, Smith Road is a small boutique school currently supporting 14 students in Grades 6, 8 and 9 allowing for optimum individual attention. There are 6 teachers and the ratio student-teacher ratio is 2:1.

In addition to the full-time programme, the school offes an after-school tutorial programme. There were 25 students enrolled in the after-school programme. Students learn a comprehensive British Curriculum through hands-on 'real life' inquiry. This project-based learning approach allows students to gain in-depth knowledge and consolidate skills by investigating and responding to authentic, engaging and complex challenges. CLC&S also offers bespoke programming for students struggling with the learning
process. Based on the application of neuroscience, the world-renowned Arrowsmith Program helps students strengthen weak underlying cognitive functions responsible for a range of learning difficulties, ultimately making the learning process easier. Learning support includes individualised, evidence-based literacy and math interventions aimed at closing skill gaps, ensuring a solid foundation.
