Dorm & Day is based in Grand Cayman and offers a school placement advisory service for education in Cayman and overseas.

Owned and run by Amanda Roberts, every year they visit a diverse range of boarding schools in the USA, Canada and the UK, including schools for children with learning differences, using that first-hand knowledge to find the right fit for your child and to help you make an informed choice of school.

With in person and virtual meetings you will be guided and advised throughout the admissions process. Services include reviewing transcripts, preparing a shortlist of good match schools, helping with applications and financial aid forms, seeking out scholarships for talented athletes and high academic achievers, invigilating tests, preparing students for interviews, arranging boarding school visits and communicating with schools from application to arrival.

Dorm & Day assists students with their US college admissions. This involves carefully considering the student’s academic and career compatibility, as well as any social and financial factors. Their primary objective is to streamline the process, ensuring it is stress-free, manageable, and ultimately successful. This encompasses devising comprehensive test preparation strategies, conducting thorough essay reviews, facilitating scholarship searches, and compiling a well-suited list of colleges. The process typically commences in Grade 11/Year 12 and culminates in November of Grade 12/Year 13.

Dorm & Day host the Winter Boarding School Fair which is being held on Saturday 7th March 1pm-5pm at the Governor's Ballroom at The Westin. There are schools in the mix who will be of interest to everyone, so it is definitely worth attending. Amongst the list are a dozen UK, Irish and Canadian boarding schools and they will be available to interview students and see if they would like the school and fit in.
