Dr. Barry Richter is a highly trained gynaecologist and certified urogynaecology subspecialist, with the professional dedication of helping women to recover their pelvic functional health and obtaining their feminine aesthetic best.
He has over 25 years of international experience as a specialist in private and academic practice. He has been training colleagues in advanced techniques and obtains training nationally and internationally as an important and most enjoyable part of his professional life. The most satisfying part of his calling is to help the woman who is suffering from prolapse, incontinence and pelvic pain, on whom other doctors have given up on. His motto is that his extensive experience and training gives him the ability to help these women.
He is a certified urogynaecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery subspecialist, and is also a certified aesthetic (cosmetic) gynaecological surgeon.
Dr. Richter is registered with the HPCSA, the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council. He is also a member of:

Education
He was born, raised and trained in South Africa. He worked in Canada and is Board certified with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He worked in the US, and in the Cayman Islands. He directed the gynaecological endoscopy unit at the University of the Free State in South Africa for almost 5 years.
The latest skill that he has developed is that of aesthetic gynaecological surgeon, offering labiaplasty, vaginal rejuvenation and the whole spectrum of female cosmetic genital surgery. He is presently training in neuropelveology, the complex field of the neurology of the pelvis.
