Dr. Stone is an OB/GYN consultant and the Medical Director and Director of Urogynecology at OceanMed. Dr. Stone holds a Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Stone attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Hutzel Women's Hospital. As a Urogynecologist, Dr. Stone has extensive experience in helping women with pelvic floor and bladder issues, such as a weak bladder and incontinence, weak pelvic muscles, reproductive issues, and prolapse. Additionally, Dr. Stone is an authority in hereditary cancer screening and counselling, specifically for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome and Lynch Syndrome.

A highly experienced physician in all areas of OB/GYN, Dr. Stone also specializes in minimally invasive surgery and advanced robotic-assisted laparoscopy in treating women with abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, vaginal prolapse, and infertility. Dr. Stone performed the first robotic-assisted surgery in Cayman in 2022 after 15 years’ of experience. Dr. Stone is an internationally recognized thought leader in the field and trains other physicians in the very latest technology and procedures. Dr. Stone is an active member of the Global Congress of Hysteroscopy, the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the International Society of Gynecologic Laparoscopist. He has performed and trained colleagues in advanced traditional laparoscopy, robotic-assisted laparoscopy, and operative hysteroscopy.

Dr. Stone has been practicing in the Cayman Islands since 2015 and is well-known and respected within the Cayman community.
