The Ministry of Education provides scholarship opportunities for qualified Caymanians looking to pursue a higher education.

Local Scholarships Application Period: 1st March-30th April 2025

The local scholarship can facilitate a Fall or Spring start date at UCCI, ICCI, UWI Open Campus, Truman Bodden Law School, St. Matthew's University, A levels, BTEC Level 3 or the final year of CAPE, International Baccalaureate or Advanced Placement.

  • Local Law School Scholarship

Overseas Scholarships Application Period: 15th November 2024-31st January 2025

The overseas scholarship can facilitate Fall and Spring start date. Scholarships are available to pursue overseas tertiary studies; TVET, Associate, Bachelor, Master & PhD studies.

  • Standard Overseas Government TVET Scholarship
  • Standard Overseas Government Scholarship
  • Medical Specialisation Scholarship
  • Gwen Bush Memorial Scholarship

Applications for both local and overseas must be made online. No applications can be made in advance or after the application periods stated. Do not delay applications because grades or acceptance letters are not yet available. To obtain forms, criteria and required documentation, visit the Ministry of Education website.
