About
Established in Toronto in 1899, St. Andrew's College moved to their current location in Aurora in 1926. The school is dedicated to the development of the complete man, the well-rounded citizen. The 126 acre campus is home to 391 day students and 259 boarding students from 30 different countries around the world.
St. Andrew's is accredited through CAIS (Canadian Accredited Independent Schools), a national community of independent schools which explores and pursues exemplary leadership, training, research and international standards of educational excellence. Their 'school within a school' concept gives the opportunity for grade 5-8 to begin the transition from elementary to secondary school. The academic programme in the middle school allows students to gain knowledge, skills and confidence as they approach the upper school. Teaching practices are geared towards recognising the unique emotional, intellectual and developmental needs of this pre-adolescent age group.
