About

The Bodden Town Primary School was renamed the Theoline L. McCoy Primary School in honour of the late Theoline Lillis McCoy, a former school inspector and headteacher of Savannah Primary School in 1950. McCoy worked in public education for 34 years and then moved on to become a school inspector assigned to all primary schools for nine years. She was devoted to the development of the public education system in the Cayman Islands and was well-loved and respected.
