About

Village Montessori is a fully licensed private school, and prides itself on being a unique and innovative environment that believes in inclusion of all children, culture, respect and a sense of community. Village Montessori started out as a children's enrichment centre, a pre-school (previously known as 'Starfish Village'), and a startup Montessori in September 2014 with 16 children. In the past six years, it has grown to a student body of over 95, expanding to offer a Toddler (18 months to 3 years), Casa (ages 3-6 years old), Lower Elementary (ages 6-9 years old) and Upper Elementary programme (ages 9-12), as well as after school care.

Located in Camana Bay, along the Seven Mile Beach corridor, Village Montessori strives to foster a strong sense of community and respect for self, others and the environment. They aim to provide children with an opportunity to develop independence in a creative, educational environment and foster a life-long love of learning.

Utilising the Montessori method, the dedicated and experienced team at Village Montessori work to give each child the chance to grow as a lifetime learner, incorporating practical life skills, Reading, Language, Mathematics, Science, Geography and Culture, while providing classrooms with all the necessary materials to foster those skills.

Village Montessori received a 'Good' result from their latest inspection report from the Office of Education Standards (OES). Click the link below to read the full report: Full Inspection Report - Village Montessori - 'Good', OES 2019
