This mango puree tastes bright and delicious! Use it as a first food or on pancakes. It's a great alternative to applesauce. Preparation time: 5 minutes. Yield: 1 cup of puree.


  • 1 cups of diced ripe local mango
  • 2 tbs-¼ cup of water, formula or breastmilk


  • Wash the mango thoroughly. Cut the skin off and remove the flesh.
  • Place the mango into a blender.
  • Purée while gradually adding just enough water or breastmilk to reach a smooth consistency.
