The Bedell Cristin Cayman Islands Scholarship Programme provides funding for Caymanians looking for financial assistance to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate educational legal studies in support of ultimately becoming a qualified Attorney.

The scholarship offers:

  • Funding to cover tuition fees for the duration of the qualification payable to the institution directly
  • The opportunity for intern placements with the firm
  • Mentoring and guidance from experienced professionals

Scholarship applications open in December each year for the academic year starting the following September.

Terms & Conditions

Candidates applying must be Caymanian or hold Caymanian Status.

During their time on the programme, candidates must achieve consistently high academic standards and performance should equate to being on course to achieve an Upper Second Class or First Class degree result. Failure to achieve the required standard in any of the years could result in the Scholarship being withdrawn. Candidates must provide evidence of their grades and assessments each year. Should the candidate fail to meet the minimum academic standards, withdraw from or defer the educational qualification they're undertaking then Bedell Cristin reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship with immediate effect.
