Description

Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. (CUC) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its 2026 Scholarship Programme.

The Scholarship Programme provides financial support for Caymanian students pursuing Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degrees at accredited universities in fields vital to CUC’s operations and the wider energy sector. Areas of study include engineering, electrical technology, mechanical maintenance, information technology, occupational safety, health and environment, regulatory and sustainability, corporate governance, finance, human resources, and customer service.

This initiative reflects CUC’s ongoing commitment to education, career development, and building a sustainable future for the Cayman Islands.

Educational Requirement

  • Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude to obtain a university degree or a technical diploma in engineering electrical technology, or in such other fields as determined by CUC.
  • A university letter of acceptance/conditional acceptance is required.

Terms & Conditions

  • Be Caymanian or hold Caymanian Status.
  • Applicants must provide a fully executed grade release form and must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 for each semester/term.
