Description

As part of the firm’s staff development programme, Rawlinson & Hunter offers a number of opportunities to Caymanians wishing to pursue further education, whether locally through an Associate Degree programme at UCCI, specific professional designations such as STEP, ACCA, ACA, CPA and CAIA, or through the overseas bachelor’s degree scholarship programme.

The Bachelor’s Degree Programme is offered to those students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree locally or overseas with a view to a career in finance. It is designed particularly for those students who demonstrate a strong scholastic ability and require financial support to attain their goals.

Educational Requirement

  • High school diploma
  • At least a 3.0 cumulative GPA must be maintained
  • At least 5 GCSE/CXE or equivalent passes (at a high level)

Terms & Conditions

• Must be Caymanian

• Age 17-25

• Applicants must submit a personal statement detailing: career intentions, life goals, details of community/sporting achievements, and other extracurricular activities and why they consider themselves qualified to be awarded the scholarship.

• Will be interviewed and with attention being on candidate's character, involvement in the community, sporting achievements and demonstrated leadership skills.

• Acceptance from an accredited university will be required. Those who have completed their first or subsequent years are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

• Medical certificate will be required.

• Applicant responsible for obtaining a valid student visa for the country of the university they will be attending.
