About

Join us for a one-of-a-kind, hands on culinary workshop camp!

Based in a restaurant environment with award winning chef instructors from Food for Thought Caterers culinary team. This camp will cover basic kitchen skills, hygiene and will look at international cuisines from across the world. Campers will learn how to make home comforts like burgers, Italian classics such as pasta and pizza, bakes and cakes and delicious street food like Spring Rolls, Onion Bhajis and Lamb Koftas. Each week will finish with a high energy fun filled team cook off, our very own “Chopped”!

A week not to be missed for any teen with a passion for cooking!

Summer Holiday Camp Details

Camp includes snacks and drinks and all equipment and supplies is included. Camp will be based on learning the following types of foods from across the world:

Monday - Comfort Foods - How to make homemade Sausage Rolls, English-style Fish and Chips, Burgers, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce and much more.
Tuesday - Street Foods - Make your own Spring Rolls, Veggie Samosas, Lamb Koftas, Onion Bhajis, Dipping Sauces.
Wednesday - Taste of Italy - Make your own Gnocchi, Bruschetta, Lasagne, build your own Pizzas, plus Tiramisu and Panna Cotta.
Thursday - Bakes and Cakes - Make your own Fruit Napoleon and Turnovers, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Swiss Rolls and making and decorating cupcakes.
Friday - Chopped day! Which team will win the Chopped trophy?! Time to put your new skills into action.
  • Dates: Week 1: 30th June - 4th July, Week 2: 14th - 18th July, Camp 3: 21st - 25th July, Week 4: 28th July - 1st August, Week 5: 4th - 8th August, Week 6: 11th - 15th August.
  • Hours: 8.30am-1pm
