Brenda Tibbetts-Lund Memorial 5K walk/run & 10K Run

The Brenda Tibbetts-Lund Memorial Breast Cancer Awareness 10K Run | 5K Walk/Run returns to Public Beach for its annual community fundraiser. Organised by the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens, the event offers a 5K walk, 5K run and 10K run. All funds raised support the club’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, which has helped provide mammograms and assistance with overseas treatment, travel, accommodation, meals, prosthetic breast forms and specialised bras. Adult registration is CI$25, while participants aged 17 and under pay CI$10. Random spot prizes are planned. The top three male and female runners receive medals, with participation medals for all runners and walkers.

The event is suitable for adults, youths and children. Participants may choose the 5K walk, 5K run or 10K run, and the youth/child registration rate applies to those aged 17 and under.
Participants can join the community at Public Beach while supporting the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens’ Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
