Roots & Remedies - A CI National Museum Event

By: Cayman Islands National Museum
  • Date: Sat 13 Sep, 2025
  • Time: 5:00pm to 8:00pm

The Cayman Islands National Museum is excited to announce the first-ever Roots & Remedies:

Tradition & Wellness Market, taking place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the National Museum on the Waterfront.

This new event will explore the intersection of traditional knowledge, plant-based healing, and modern wellness, highlighting Caribbean practices with a special focus on Caymanian heritage.

Guests can look forward to cultural displays, live demonstrations, and engaging talks designed to celebrate both our past and present approaches to well-being.

Two featured wellness sessions will offer immersive, restorative experiences:

  • Chi-Gong Session with Mr. Randy Chollette — Discover the art of mindful movement, breathwork, and energy flow to promote balance and vitality. Register at www.museum.ky/chigong.
  • Sound Healing Session — Settle into a peaceful space with silent-disco headphones and live therapeutic sound designed to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. Reserve your spot at www.museum.ky/soundhealing.
