Reef Lecture: The Story of the First Coral Nursery in the Cayman Islands

CCMI - Central Caribbean Marine Institute hosts this free World Ocean Day Reef Lecture as part of its Healthy Reefs Lecture Series. Nicole Rotelle will share the story of CCMI’s coral nursery, created in 2012 as the first of its kind in the Cayman Islands. Attendees will learn about coral restoration, staghorn coral and the importance of protecting the nursery following the 2023 mass bleaching event.
