About

Cayman Career Academy (CCA) is a spa and beauty school located in Smith Road Plaza, George Town.

CAA is the first CIDESCO accredited beauty school in the Caribbean to offer world-renowned CIDESCO diploma and certificate courses, and it is open to anyone over the age of 16 who is interested in pursuing a career in beauty therapy. They currently offer the full Beauty Therapy course which takes 12 months to complete, and for those who are already trained as a beauty therapist, and who have three years’ experience, they offer a three month post-graduate course. In addition, they offer certifications in both Body Therapy and Facial Aesthetics which take six months each to complete. Newly added is the Beauty & Spa Management Course, which is a full-time online course and takes about three months to complete.

Alternatively, newcomers to the profession can do a modular certificate course which takes only three months and will qualify them as Facialists. Students receive theoretical and practical training, obtain expertise and a CIDESCO Diploma as well as certificates that will ensure they stand out to employers, not only locally but internationally.

Recently, CCA has acquired an additional accreditation through EduQual which is a regulated awarding body, approved by SQA-Accreditation, a globally-recognised national qualifications regulator in the UK and is a full member of the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB). Through EduQual, CCA will be offering a diploma in massage therapy, which will qualify students for CPAM registration. Also being offered are shorter award courses in waxing and manicures and pedicures.

Day, evening and online class options and government scholarships are available. The deadline for government scholarships is April 30th each year. For those who may not qualify for a scholarship, payment plans are also available. For more information see www.caymancareeracademy.ky or call (345) 936 2228 to book an interview with one of their team.
