Dr Sarah Tyler MBBS PGDip Clin Ed FRCEM

Dr. Sarah Tyler is an experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine who provides compassionate, expert care in high-pressure and time-critical situations. Now part of the Doctors Hospital team, she previously worked at the Royal Sussex County Hospital—a major trauma centre—and the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, where she cared for both adult and paediatric emergency patients. With strong expertise in trauma management, patient safety, and medical education, Dr. Tyler is committed to advancing emergency care through innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Dr. Tyler has held several senior leadership roles, including Emergency Department Clinical Governance Lead (2022–2024), where she chaired mortality and morbidity reviews and led serious incident investigations. She is an experienced educator and supervisor, supporting trainee doctors and advanced care practitioners. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Education, with contributions to simulation training, student assessments, and curriculum development.
