About

Sign up for KidsAbility's bike riding camp - get those training wheels off and learn how to ride a bike.

Join KidsAbility's Occupational Therapist for 4/5 days for their Learn to Ride Programme. Throughout the week your child will learn to safely put their helmet on, get on/off their bike and park their bike. They will then learn to steer, start and stop safely, glide and hopefully by the end of the week be able to pedal and ride independently. Please note that each child is individual and although KidsAbility will try their best to get them cycling independently, they cannot guarantee this.

There will be an occupational therapist and assistant present at each session to ensure children get maximum support during the group. If your child has a caregiver it would be advised that they attend to the group to aid with monitoring the children during break times or as necessary.

Please be sure that your child has a bike, the pedals have been removed from the bike and a helmet that fits.
