To Kill A Mockingbird

Cayman Drama Society brings To Kill A Mockingbird to the Prospect Playhouse this October. Adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, the play follows Scout and Jem Finch in a sleepy Alabama town during the Great Depression. Their seemingly peaceful community is shaken when a young Black man is accused of a terrible crime and their father, local lawyer Atticus Finch, defends him. The hard-hitting story explores prejudice, compassion and the courage to stand up for what is right. Adult tickets are CI$30 and student tickets are CI$15, with a special Pay What You Can performance on 8th October.

Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th, Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October 2026: 7.30pm
Sunday 11th, 18th and 25th October 2026: 4pm
Venue: The Prospect Playhouse

The Pay What You Can performance on 8th October runs from 7.30pm to 10pm.

This production tackles themes of racial prejudice, criminal accusation and violence within its exploration of compassion and moral courage.
