About

The Cayman Drama Society offers regular acting classes, workshops and productions for children (7 years-18 years) and adults interested in acting and directing.

Productions also have many opportunities for people to get involved, with a new production underway every few months from comedy and high drama to musicals. Dedicated members devote their time, talent and energy to ensure every production provides first-class entertainment.

Acting Classes (2026)

Caystage:

Designed for ages 7–18, Caystage helps young performers build confidence, creativity, and life skills in a fun, supportive environment.

  • Ages 7–9: Tuesdays (21st April – 23rd June), 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM — CI$200.00 [Book Here]
  • Ages 10–12: Thursdays (16th April – 25th June), 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM — CI$220.00 [Book Here]
  • Ages 13–18: Wednesdays (15th April – 24th June), 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM — CI$275.00 [Book Here]

The CDS Acting Studio:

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced performer, The CDS Acting Studio offers a comprehensive curriculum grounded in practical, professional experience.

Adult Acting Classes:

  • Schedule: Wednesdays (15th April – 24th June)
  • Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Fee: CI$275.00 for the term [Book Here]

Essentials in Theatre Directing

4 Week Intensive:

  • Schedule: Tuesdays (21st April – 12th May)
  • Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Fee: CI$100.00 for the term [Book Here]

They also teach stage management, light and sound, set design and construction. There are also plenty of opportunities throughout the year such as costume, make-up, sound, lighting, youth liaisons/theatre chaperones, bar and front-of-house.
