About

The Cayman Drama Society offers regular acting classes, workshops and productions for children (7 years-18 years) and adults interested in acting and directing.

Productions also have many opportunities for people to get involved, with a new production underway every few months from comedy and high drama to musicals. Dedicated members devote their time, talent and energy to ensure every production provides first-class entertainment.

Acting Classes (2026)

The CDS Acting Studio:

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced performer, The CDS Acting Studio offers a comprehensive curriculum grounded in practical, professional experience.

  • Schedule: Wednesdays (21st January – 25th March)
  • Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Caystage:

Designed for ages 7–18, Caystage helps young performers build confidence, creativity, and life skills in a fun, supportive environment.

  • Ages 7–9: Wednesdays (21st January – 25th March), 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM — CI$180.00 [Book Here]
  • Ages 10–12: Thursdays (22nd January – 26th March), 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM — CI$225.00 [Book Here]
  • Ages 13–15: Wednesdays (21st January – 25th March), 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM — CI$225.00 [Book Here]
  • Ages 16–18: Tuesdays (20th January – 24th March), 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM — CI$225.00 [Book Here]


They also teach stage management, light and sound, set design and construction. There are also plenty of opportunities throughout the year such as costume, make-up, sound, lighting, youth liaisons/theatre chaperones, bar and front-of-house.

They also host summer camps. Their highly respected educational programme is run by a full-time education officer. To email her directly: training@cds.ky.
