About

Footsteps School is a new private boutique primary school for children aged 4-12 (now offering Year 7!). A non-denominational school, their first intake of full-time students was September 2019, but they have been running as a very successful tutoring centre since 2014.

Footsteps school is a warm, vibrant and inclusive school offering the UK National Curriculum for children from Reception to Year 7. As Cayman's first and only accredited beach school on Island, Footsteps integrates outdoor learning into their curriculum, taking advantage of Cayman’s natural beauty and landscape whilst encouraging exploration, investigation and independence. Footsteps' passionate and experienced teachers use a variety of hands-on teaching and learning styles, ensuring that students can really engage with their learning.

Footsteps boasts small class sizes and a high staff to student ratio. They aim to individualise learning as far as possible, offering regular extension and depth-of-learning opportunities as well as specialist learning support where required.

After school tutoring is available in all areas of the curriculum along with after school care and holiday camps. Footsteps offers tutoring support in all subject areas for early years, primary and secondary children. They also offer extension work for gifted and talented children, exam preparation and homework help. They have a team of fully qualified and experienced teachers.
