About

The mission of Sharon (Marie) Martin Primary School (formerly George Town Primary School), located in a multifaceted business community, is to produce competent and disciplined students, utilising a comprehensive curriculum, taught by caring and dynamic staff in partnership with parents and the community. They also have a Kindergarten/ Reception year.

Catchment Area: Area south of Government House up to Memorial Avenue. North along Walkers Road to Maple Road, and east along Smith Road up to the Crewe Road airport junction. Plus the area that is north of Airport Road, through the Junction in Industrial Park, and all areas north and east past the airport up to North Sound.

Extracurricular Activities

There are two Extended After-School Programmes offered at Sharon (Marie) Martin Primary School. One is run by the YMCA under the guidance of the Ministry of Education. This community enrichment programme provides wholesome activities and a safe environment including many activities on and off the school site. The other is the GTPS after school programme run in conjunction with PTA. This programme too offers a range of activities on school site. Parents will need to make an application for this programme through the front office.
